Looking to get a head start on holiday shopping?  Or are you a vendor looking for a mid-November show?  The eighth annual New Richmond High School craft fair is scheduled for Saturday, November 16, from 9am-2:30pm at New Richmond High School, 1131 Bethel-New Richmond Road.

About 70 vendors are expected this year, each one with unique, affordable products.  Everything from handmade crafts to soap, jewelry, and homemade treats will be featured. Reps from several national brands will also be in attendance.

All vendors will be in prime locations in the gym and theater lobby.  A concession stand will be open throughout the day and  there will be a raffle as well that features products from all of the vendors along with  items donated by members of the community.

The craft fair raises money for the NRHS marching band uniform fund and for Lions Reach Out, a small charity that helps out needy families during the holidays.  The band has grown to about a hundred members and hopes to replace uniforms every five years and Lions Reach Out anticipates 200+ children on the Christmas list this year. Both are worthy causes and all the money generated by the craft fair goes directly to students involved in the band and families in the NR community.

Lots of good spaces are left for vendors; please contact Sue Griffin at lionsreachout@gmal.com if you’d like to join us for the show.  Lions Reach Out is also looking for sponsors for children and/or families for Christmas; contact Sue Griffin at the same email for more information.
